This year’s Rugby World Cup has been as exciting as ever! Like any other sports, it is a game where the competition is intense and teamwork is their greatest weapon. Let’s take a look at the current ranking of the top 4 in this year’s Rugby World Cup!
Of all the great teams this year, New Zealand All Blacks’ got the first rank with 92.89 points. The Australian Wallabies ranked second with a score of 90.93. Third, the South Africa’s Springboks with a score of 86.80. And the Argentinian Pumas who fought their way to rank 4 with a score of 85.07.
The NZ All Blacks’ have shown amazing teamwork and passion in every game. During their recent games, the All Blacks have shown the same intensity, accuracy and teamwork that made them become the number in this year’s ranking. The All Blacks’ may be the leading team in this year’s World Cup, but they need to work on their defense recovery and avoid turnovers.
The Wallabies, well, has been one of the most consistent team in the top ranking of the Rugby World Cup 2015. According to their Coach Michael Cheika, the most challenging part of their team this year was that most of them are new recruits and didn’t have much time to play and practice with their teammates to make plays and build teamwork. Although the Wallabies are new recruits, they did perform well in this year’s World Cup.
The South African Springboks is the kind of team that should not be taken lightly for they are really serious about their goal. Regarded as this year’s biggest climber team, the Springboks have yet to show the world that they are here to win the games. With much determination and passion, the Springboks may have difficulty in matching their opponents with their player’s profile. Unlike the Wallabies who have more stamina and endurance, the Springboks roster lineup have caused them some disadvantage in every game. However, if each player can execute well—knowing that with the combined experience that they have, this team can become unstoppable.
The Argentinian Pumas’ have surpassed the expectations not only their team but also the Rugby enthusiasts around the globe. The Pumas have improved immensely as a team ever since their debut in 2012. A fierce competitor, the Pumas have shown courage in all of their games which allowed them to conquer their opponents and win. The Pumas have performed well but in some of their games, they seem to be lacking with the persistence in maintaining their leads and sustaining their defenses that have become their weakness as a team. But even so, the Argentinian Pumas have a bright future in this game of Rugby as long as they keep pushing and reaching their goals.
With the current standing and team performance in this year’s Rugby World Cup, amongst the four teams, the NZ All Blacks’ and the Australian Wallabies have better and bigger chances of winning. Looking at their team standing, performance, statistics, and players—it will be their will and passion that will determine who’s to bring the World Cup to their country.
